is the cofounder of the Los Angeles design firm Oyler Wu Collaborative. He received a BArch from Kansas State University in 1996 and an MArch from Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 2001. He was awarded the SOM Foundation traveling fellowship in 1996. Oyler has worked in the office of Toshiko Mori and has collaborated with Lebbeus Woods on several projects. He has also taught at Southern California Institute of Architecture’s Research Institute for Experimental Architecture in Vico Morcote, Switzerland. Prior to relocating to Los Angeles in 2004, he taught in the Thesis Design Studio program at Cooper Union for the Advancement for Arts and Sciences in New York City.
