“Negotiation of States” proposes a crematorium and columbarium within Hong Kong that is formed from a new funerary system. The system responds to the lack of space to house the dead within the city, manipulating existing digital technologies and land reclamation methodologies to formulate a new form of ancestral experience. Each death contributes to the landscape that emerges from a sunken void towards the horizon.
